La Source

La Source, on the opposite bank to Fongrave on the River Lot sits la Source and a short 6 minute drive from Les Martinets. This restaurant on the water has a panoramic view of the river from the veranda. The restaurant offers a range of culinary and festive events and themes including astronomic menus, cooking classes and tapas and cocktails.

 

Restaurant Bar Le Commerce

Restaurant Bar Le Commerce is just 3.5km away and a short drive to Castelmoron. Olivier and Fabienne offer homemade family food in a friendly local café right in the heart of the village of Castelmoron serving freshly cooked local and organic food, including vegetarian options. The restaurant is open Wednesday to Sunday at 08h30 to 14h30 and 19h00 to 21h30 on Friday and Saturday. For reservations call 05 53 84 01 77.

 

Aux Délices de Fongrave

Aux Délices de Fongrave right in the heart of the village, less than 1 minutes walk you will find our local village restaurant, where you can eat, or have cold beer in the shaded garden of this local eatery. Mémé Cocotte

Mémé Cocotte 3kms from Les Martinets in the village of St. Etienne de Fougères this popular local eatery offers great home cooking with a set menu that changes daily. Sit with the locals and break bread together, whilst being served a feast of simple but delicious home cooking. Soup, starter, main, dessert and coffee and home made bread for less than €20. Le Lein

Le Lien in the heart of the village of in Sainte-Livrade-sur-Lot, just 5km from Fongrave offers a relaxed café and a friendly welcome from Marie-Claude. Whether you just want a coffee after the Friday market or a simple lunch of nems or a Vietnamese salad Bôbun; or a Steak et Frites, this lovely local eatery hits the spot! No reservations are required, just pop in and say Jim and Gilles sent you!

 

Saigon

Saigon is a Vietnamese supermarket and café offering amazing authentic Vietnamese cuisine. The store is located in the historic Cafi district of Ste. Livrade, which housed refugees, returnees and their families following the French withdrawal from the Indo-Chine in 1954 and 1955. The food is delicious and well worth a detour.
