Fine Dining in Lot et Garonne

L’effet Maison, Place des Arcades, Monflanquin

This lovely restaurant is just 30km (18 miles) from les Martinet, located in the heart of the village of Monflanquin. It offers amazing local food, the provenance of which can be in no doubt, with the suppliers listed and pictured on the walls of the restaurant in the picturesque medieval square. The food is seasonal, local and delicious and caters for all tastes and diets. The chef is a Master Restaurateur and a member of the Culinary College of France.

 

L’Herboriste Restaurant, Castelmoron-sur-Lot

This beautiful restaurant located just 5 km (2 miles) from Les Martinet, was the original summer home of the Duke Comargue built in 1858. The food is innovative, seasonal and locally produced. Wild herbs, young shoots and aromatics are at the centre of the cuisine, with organic vegetables, free range meats, local fruits and cheeses carefully chosen and beautifully presented.

 

Le Domaine de Bugatel,

Sainte Livrade-sur-Lot

Just 5km (2 miles) from les Martinet, is the lovingly restored Bugatel restaurant which sits on the banks of the river Lot. The fine dining experience is enhanced by the exceptional wine cellar, which you can tour and choose your wines for the meal. The food is seasonal and local and made more enjoyable by the exceptional setting with astonishing views of the river and spectacular sunsets over the Lot Valley.
